本门课程通过夯实国际经济学理论基础，训练学生开放条件下的经济学分析思路，培养学生观察和分析国际经济问题的应用能力。在国际联系日趋紧密和中国经济世界影响力增强的背景下，培养具备全球视野、研究思路和研究方法与国际接轨、能在国际事务中提供中国观点与视角的国际经管人才。主要教学内容包括：李嘉图模型，赫克歇尔-俄林模型、垄断竞争与贸易贸易模型、利率平价理论、购买力平价理论、费雪理论、DD-AA 模型等。 

International Economics is the very first specialized major course in World Economy curriculum. The course builds up analytical frameworks to address fundamental theories about international economics. It is an online open course which selected part of resources from the syllabus of second-year undergraduate courses for students majored in International Economy and Trade at Wuhan University.This subject provides students with understanding of essential concepts of international trade and international finance, and enabling them to apply theoretical frameworks to analyze global economic issues and assess policy effects in open economy. This subject will also enable students to develop global outlook, critical thinking, analytical skills, and ethical awareness in the world economic and financial environments. Course Contents includes Ricardian Model, Heckscher-Ohlin Model, New Trade Theory, Interest Rates and Exchange Rates, Trade Policy, Money and Exchange Rates,Price Levels and the Exchange Rate in the Long Run, DD-AA.
